So i wont to get my self some headphones for my creative zen, but i dont think the zen can put out the power needed to use 50mm drivers properly. i really wont to get the Skullcandy SK Pro [LINK] from been a very happy user of the Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket 11mm earbuds. but i know my little zen carnt power big headphones, so is there anything close to the performance of them that i could power? i don't mind them little battery packs you sometimes have to use. thx
I have a Cowon D2 which has a pretty hefty amplifier inside but these headphones should work for you either way. They are the Audio Technica ATH-M50: http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technic...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1254672670&sr=8-1 I got mine on ebay for 88 usd after a very long research process. They have fantastic bass response but are also very good with the highs and lows. Some other headphones to check out are the sennheiser hd 280s and grados. For more information, including everything that I researched, head to http://www.head-fi.org/ They have a lot of guys on there that know their stuff
Try the Sony MDR-V6. Hahaha, I can't believe they can sell those skulljunks for that much, what a rip off.
looks very daunting to me from a quick google Anything like that on the retail market? would be good then I can choose any headphones I like pretty much. EDIT: http://www.hifiheadphones.co.uk/fiio-e5-headphone-amplifier-in-black-prodid-1150.html Looks good, rechargeable, and small! not bad for £20
