Lots of things have happened between updating this project, first off, a big Congrats to Nate! (CustomPCMax) the happy father of twins, a boy and girl!

I'm picking up the camouflage Psyko Audio headset from Brad today. Yippee!

Next up for the german wwII camo paint, this 15" HD/TV LCD, small, but it's all I have available.. Hey, add a handle and it's a nice mate to our panzerbox. I'll have to look into the handle option.

    Hey, congrats to Nate!

And Bill, don't you think a LAN rig could do with a larger screen? I understand that you're constrained by what's available, but 15" for LAN gaming is almost cruel :D

    Yep congrats to Nate :thumb:.

The monitor is just the right size for it to look like a piece of military equipment I think, not to big, not to small, just right.

eh. in the RNAZAF, ive seen anywhere from small 2.5" screens, to 24", to a specially built 3x3 17" setup for mobile operations.

Yes as you said Oreon there are many types of monitors at the military's disposal.

I should really have elaborated more on my previous comment. What I meant to say was that the 15" inch monitor has the nice chunky industrial/military feel to it and the size is a perfect compliment to the mod.

Next is getting Brad into the game! I finally got Wolfenstein installed last night, and I experienced the Psyko audio headset with 5.1 surround during the game play.

I anticipated more spacial depth from the LR & RR speakers. The background noises don't sound like they're behind me, instead by side and lower from a height wise perspective. I may not have everything properly tweeked in the X-Fi sound card. Creative's software has a plethora of tweeks & sound options. I will get James on the horn and ask for his input.

I will say that the weapon sound effects in Wolfenstein are awesome! I was pleased to see the first weapon you get is the MP40!

I added fake bullet holes to the window today..lol

    Using 3/8 drill bit.

To create spiderweb cracks, I etched the surface of the window with a Dremel and these engraving bits

Nice touch! You've got the technique down pat - they look very real in both this and the D-9 case.
