    Hey guys I've been putting together a new build that I intend to buy tonight/tomorrow - it is as follows;

    [IMG]

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Dont really want to spend more than I am already, and all items must be from scan (unless the items are in stock and I can get next day delivery for as cheap as scan).

    Any glaringly obvious flaws?

    Thanks in advance, Bob

    All looks good to me.

    Side Note*
    *I don't think you will get Next Day delivery with any company, with the current adverse weather conditions.

    You will need the titan fenrir brackets for your 1156 setup =- LN29425 (scan)

    Thanks for advice on brackets :)

    Have decided to use Overclockers.co.uk aswell because they have the spinpoint f3 for significantly cheaper...replaced parts are as follows;

    I would go for the sata version of the dvd , And get the corsair psu over the ocz one .
    I would'nt buy from overcockers but thats a personal thing , Apart from that looks good.
    I bought some stuff from Scan last week and had no problems with delivery

    is the F3 from OCZ better than the F1 from scan?

    if not, then theres no real reason from me to buy from overclockers and i'll just buy everything from scan.

    Okay, hopefully this is the final revision then...

    [IMG]

    I'm guessing that the special edition fenrir comes with the brackets supplied, as it says it is fully i5 compatible..

    Any last things to consider, before I make the leap and commit to the 841£ its going to cost :)?

    Thanks for replies guys, much appreciated!

    The RAM is the wrong type you'll need to switch it for stuff that's 1.65v

    Bought some of the same stuff recently, it worked bit would only clock at 1066Mhz, couldn't get it any higher. Was later told I'd picked the wrong stuff so sent it back for the same type that runs at 1.65v. That one in particular iat 1.8v is for 775 DDR3 boards or AMD based systems.

    Ack...

    cant even cancel the order till monday it seems...as it doesnt even appear in my outstanding orders/order history.

    am i right in thinking that this is normal?

    Will have to wake up early on monday then i guess!

    Is this the stuff I need to change it to?

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/4GB-...-(1600)-240-Pin-Non-ECC-Unbuffered-CAS-8-BEMP

    bit more expensive than I was expecting...

    does anyone know where i can find it cheaper including next day delivery?

    bit funny though, the mid-price gaming pc in the latest copy of custom PC runs an i5 processor with gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 motherboard and 1.8v dominator PC3-12800

    wonder how many people have bought the wrong type of memory if this is the case :\
