IS anyone interested in setting up a fleet/guild in star trek online? Cus i am loving the beta and i don't normal do mmo's and would like to see some friendly BIt-tech/cpc players
ey i'll join. Just having trouble with the download, says the zip is corrupt 3 ****ing hours it took!!! Can you provide me the link you used as im guessing its working for you. Also, there seems to be 2 versions knocking about one at 6.61Gb and one at 7.7Gb what gives?
OK peoples, now that the head start is live we can think about grouping up if you're still up for it. I'm Rob@roblikesbeer, flying the USS Pewpewlasers.
Good good i am up for it but I'm waiting for my code form hmv Soon as I'm in i will look for you. But any idea on a fleet name??
Ooo, it'd have to be something like the "This is Patrick, not Richard!! Fleet" or the "We Love Cheesecake Fleet"
Can someone do an honest review of this game? I'm seriously interested in getting it but the lack of reviews and info of sub fees is a bit disappointing. Also the trailer on the actual website is terrible!
Cheers, loving yours as well I was going to call it USS Photon Torpedo In The Face! but that was too long... It's kinda hard to review it so early in it's lifespan. There's lots of things that need work (eg space combat is waaaay better than ground combat at the moment) but there is a good game in there. When you buy the game you get 30 days play free and the subs are £10.34 a month if you pay monthly. More info here: http://www.startrekonline.com/subscribe
According to the the STO website they're also doing a lifetime subscription for $239.99 (£150ish) Which if the game is any good seems like a good buy to me. Offers only available till tomorrow though. Personally i think ill wait a little while to have a look, ive joined other MMOs on release and only been let down by buggy gameplay (fallen earth im looking at you)
It's a good game but the terrible control scheme in ground missions and some stupid bugs mean I won't be giving it another chance for about 6 months I think.
