I haven't left, just been doing other stuff :p Glad you like it :)

Thanks! Yeah I'm hoping for the best but there's some fierce competition, especially Kaiten X.

First off, thanks alot for the comment, it's comments like this that gives you the energy to continue building

Well, the only real special tool I've got is the cnc-mill. Other than that it's the usual jigsaw and a bunch of files, very high quality ones though. The brake is pretty crappy eventhough it's quite sturdy, I guess it's pretty pretty good value as it cost me roughly £200

I dunno really what mine would cost new, the receipt from the last owner was at around £6000, but that was like 20 years ago. It's probably better to just build your own, parts are pretty easy to get hold of these days :)

I'm definately hoping it'll be there at least, but it's really to soon to tell :) Yeah I've tried standing on it a couple of times and it hasn't even creaked.

Whoa, £42? That's hideously expensive. I paid a about £35 for a 2000x1000x5mm, you should probably try some of the larger suppliers in the area.

/PM if you've got any other questions :)

    Thanks!

350x350x600mm according to the drawings, no idea about the weight though. My current pc (with hardware) is around 40kg, so anything lighter than that would be a success :)

:), Thanks for the info Sleepstreamer :thumb:.
I think I'll look into building my own cnc mill if I can't find an affordable one that is, and also I should be able to find a local supplier for aluminium, I didn't know I was paying way over the odds, I got onto that by a website and cost a standard £15 delivery and an extra £30 for sheets bigger than 1000mm x 1000mm, glad I mentioned the price now else I'd have probably kept going there :).

Well, from the current poll I dont think you have much to worry about lol:hehe:

Looking excellent as usual, I dig the circular design on top, though all the angles look great it adds something different to focus on as well.:clap:

Apperently not :D You'd still get my vote though, awesome concept.

Thanks. It'll probably look better still once I find the time to cut out the remaining pieces for the 3d-look, I'm confident :)

    Thanks phinix!

    Thanks man!

Nope :naughty: You'll all see once it's done :) I'll finish it sometime this week.

    I like the teaser!
It has deep, beveled recesses that just seem really inviting to curious fingers. "Go ahead...The fans don't bite.":naughty:
    ^That sounded like I have a fat fetish. :(

Well done sir. I've done 2 aluminum cases in the past (1 2), but my work doesn't even come close to yours.

    You'll see soon enough :thumb:

Did some work fitting the two psus today!

Started off by making a bracket to hold them in place.

Looks pretty good to me :)

Now for a bit of cable routing. I'm planning to hide all the cables inside the "frame", which is why I've made it so thick. The same will be done for the hdd-cables which will be routed through the other side of it.

Now you have me wondering what you will be running in that beast. Two systems? Dual 1366 awesomeness?
