    Hi everyone!

Long time lurker and reader of the CPC mag (since issue 13!) I've finally decided to take the plunge and get an account on here. That, and the fact that the forums of a PC building website I used to go to regularly have just been blammed for some unknown reason. So you could kind of say I am an internet refugee ;)

Based on the stuff being posted here I think this looks like a great place to stick around, get more info and help for PC builds and to share general shenanigans.

Looking forward to messing around on here with everyone!

Cheesecake isn't technically a cake though, is it?

And a Jaffa Cake isn't technically a biscuit, although people keep them in the biscuit tin. I don't care either way, as long as they're free for munching.

do you remember the lulz the inland revenue shat when they realised they were taxing tea-cakes wrongly?

IIR, it was about taxing biscuits that had chocolate on them and someone their end put ‘tea cakes’, marshmallow and chocolate, into that category. They had a go at taxing Jaffa Cakes as well until McVitie's took them to court. You'd have thought that the simple cake/biscuit test would be to dunk them in a cup o' tea.

Welcome to bit-tech... as you've probably seen, we're a little bit mad over here, so if you have an ounce of sanity left in you... put it in a safe and lock it away before logging on, then retrieve it later, or you might lose yours too

    Basic summary:
Relix is God... no matter what religion you follow
Cheesecake is the only food worth eating, other than bacon
Patrick, Sparta, and silicone are never to be mentioned
Bindi's banhammer is to be feared

Not many people have a Power Glove these days. You might have to make do with a Game Boy.
