hey, i just dont want to get banhammered for posting gore.. its a tumor that was under my kneecap. Its a condition called PVNS. Click for wiki. It might not be gross, but it was painful as hell (i could barely walk, couldnt bend my knee at all)...

 

What is the point of this..? It's not demotivational, and just plain icky. Ok yea, you put NSFW tags but still.. what's the link between pics of surgery to posters with funny pictures and captions..?

I've only had my hand sliced open, though I wasn't cool enough to get pictures taken of it.. admittedly I was bawling like a little girl so I suppose it's a good thing they didn't take pictures..

My coolest moment, and my biggest regret, was falling off my bike.

(Read this, if you're not already, because it is both demotivational and amusing.)

I was 15 years old and doing a paper round at about 6:30am. Whilst flying down a country lane at about 20mph, I noticed a leaf stuck on the front forks, flickering annoyingly in the spokes. I immediately, and without slowing down, stood on one pedal and tried to dislodge it with my other foot. Result was obvious: I stuck my foot through the spokes, jamming the front wheel, and arced gracefully through the air at tremendous speed, then faceplanted the pavement. The bike followed, wrapped around my legs, and hit me in the back. It was the single most awesome thing that's ever happened to me, objectively.

My ultimate regret is that there is no way to go back and see it from the third person. I bet it looked absolutely hilarious

yeah, I had to walk around with it for two years until it was removed. Gotta love medicare and their bull runaround red tape. Sorry, but if you havent walked my shoes, dont go starting stuff.

also it was pretty cool, in terms of the rep i got IRL. Going thru surgery at 16 is pretty hardcore. Whats not cool is when the teachers flunk you for being out over the allotted amount of days out of school, even though you're on medical leave. I almost had a court case against the School and Board Of Education, because what they did is/was illegal. But in a way it helped me open my eyes. I finished that year of school, tried to keep going the next year, but they held me back and in March 2009 I withdrew from the school and transferred to the community college, got my GED and now am working on a bachelors. I plan on going back and rubbing my bachelors and GED in the principals face... so yeah, i know no one has been in my shoes on this...
