I wasn't going to add another post about Shattered Horizon: Moonrise, but it turns out that you can buy Shattered Horizon 50% OFF, £7.49 I didn't realise that - and Moonrise will also come as FREE DLC.

But ... just to add, Steam is offering a FREE Shattered Horizon: Moonrise weekend! Go try it out!

I'll probably be up for some games after about 10 (when I get home from work), I've been wanting to try out the new maps. Although now I'm a complete noob as my stats have been reset >.>

    :eyebrow:

If you got it from Steam you wouldn't need to download it as it was included in the update on the 16th.

    ?!?!

I bought SH when it first went into the Steam sales, played it briefly, then needed the HDD space and backup it up to my second drive. I reinstalled it last night and set SH to install the new Moonrise update. All done. And I notice I'm down to 10gb free again.

Also new to Steam is Gridrunner Revolution, excellent old-skool blast-em-up with sheep, flowers, gravity and the usual Jeff Minter madness. A steal at 5.99.

Also includes the Vic20 and C64 versions as unlockables. Sweet.

In other news, a beta Steam UI update was just released - get it now, it looks awesome:

    http://store.steampowered.com/uiupdate/

The best bit (apart from the addition of a clock to the overlay) is that it now seems to use a Webkit based browser instead of IE. The in-game browser is finally usable!

EDIT: Don't get it if you want to play MW2 any time soon, as it forces you to re-download the whole of the multiplayer portion of the game again.

fac51 - I'm waiting for the price to come down even further on Wings because even though I'm sure it's a great game and I have a flight-stick gathering dust, I have way too many games to play and will never catch up unless I start rationing! :sigh:

theskirrid - I bought Gridrunner yesterday purely because it is one of Jeff Minter's games and I knew that this would be the closest way to get a legal high! :D

Thanks for the heads-up smc8788. The new UI is awesome compared to the dull, lifeless Steam we all know and love. Although I am now being forced to re-download:

    Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
    Overlord: Raising Hell
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor

... I haven't tried rebooting Steam yet but seeing as I need to reinstall Win7 before the cut-off date, it don't matter much.

New library looks awesome. Games can now be assigned to categories!!
