Added i7 930. I'm no longer folding with my Q9450 as it was sold to help pay for my i7 upgrade, but considering a overclocked i7 930 will obliterate a Q9450 in PPD, I'm deducting another cpu from the count. 258
Just added an SMP client for an overclocked i7 - once I get my head around the whole bigadv stuffs, and VMWare stop doing maintenance on their site, I'll be switching over to that. 256
Added E6750 running SMP A3 client. Also realised that I didn't deduct 2, only 1, when I added my Q9450/i7 930, so I'm deducting three from the count. 247
Just added project think, and the home PC next to me...(low points on the pc but it helps) 245 woo over 3/4 of the way there.
Gulftown running Windows SMP. Only at 3.0GHz at present Does having 6 cores rather than 4 mean I can subtract three rather than two? 242 or 241 See new post below
I think you could safely subtract three My 930 at 3GHz does 10K PPD, so are you looking at a hypothetical 15K PPD?
Hello, I'm new here. I've got a single CPU client running, probably not 24x7 and it certainly won't be troubling anyone's PPD (!), but every little helps right?
Just reread the rules, I have the one CPU running Windows SMP, which subtracts 2, regardless of the number of cores , so 242 It's happily chugging along at 13,500PPD, so long as I leave it alone. I'm waiting for some new memory before I try a mild overclock. Yes, impatience coupled with a late-night session on fleabay. I hope I never regret not having the warranty.
hello all, i am new but here goes. i started 1 week ago. i have this to the score. 2 HP 6910p with t8300 cpu doing 1 SMP each 1 HP 2510p with u7700 cpu doing 1 SMP 1 Sager 2090 with t7500 cpu doing 1 SMP and 1 Gateway 6831FX with X9000 cpu doing 1 SMP so that is -10 226
