I like your project, it is very interesting to see how you make the different parts.
The front is quiet cool, with a clean design. All over all a amazing work.

This is a very cool design.

I think you are building this thing to be strong enough to house a car, not a computer!

    Thanks!

    I'll do my best :)

I take it you don't know Relix ether then? :worried:

Good to know. What's the price?

Yeah I've done the industrial-tech theme a couple of times now and I never get fed up with it, always works. Glad you like it!

Well if theres one thing I can't stand it's flimsy aluminium cases, this is how I want mine to be built  When I do buy cases though I mostly look at the ones made from steel, no one makes an alu case as sturdy as I'd like (AFAIK).

Aluminum cases can be sturdy and rock solid, you just have to build them properly :naughty:
    Love aluminum cases

Yeah you CAN build them properly, but I don't think it would be very cost efficient using 5mm aluminium in a consumer-aimed computer case :p But if you know of any please let me know

I've heard of Relix, but... I dunno  ( I is forum n00b)
I guess I don't post about that often on here to pick things up lol.
In my defence, I knew about Cheesecake, I just didn't realise "for the win" changed :p

Screwfix price is just under twenty quid for this set

Sturdy + lightweight simply does not exist in my mind  The Antec P190 which I have now is pretty damn hefty in stock, so what I did is built an extra hdd-cage from 3mm stainless steel and 15mm aluminium with room for 16 drives which also adds 20cm in height. Problem is I also had to buy a forklift :duh:

btw, found one! Now it just needs some modding to fit my vacation photo collection...

:D Glad you like it mate!

Decided not to put any of these on the bottom, no point really since no one will ever see them

    Well, hope you like it!

OMG yeah sure as long as you volunteer to carry it  No I'll most likely bring the MCE2 (If I can find all the bits that is). Really looking forward to this though, and as you say we might meet up at Kastrup :)

Man, you just keep piling on the awesome. I love the different layers of detail. That takes some great planning, and enough vision to make sure everything fits together.

    Thanks!

I think this is actually evidence of bad planning since these pieces were originally twice as big :p

In reference to the Title of the project, how does it tie in with what your doing ? Prime - Mover?

Optumus - Prime?? or is there some other angle about it?

The name only implies that it is the biggest case I've built, nothing more, nothing less.
