Graphics Fermi vs 5870 in crysis at 25x16 dx10?

Pencil me in for 11 minimum.

Guesstimating at around 5-7 for average, though. May seem a bit high for anyone who's followed by posts about Fermi, but I don't doubt they'll be fast... just not worth it for anything but benchmarks

just did a 2560x1600 test on my 24inch monitor, i guess Crysis renders at full resolution and then displays at maximum available to your monitor.

for reference, 5870 gives around 16 minimal FPS, if gtx480 gives 8 more FPS than 5870, that would mean it's producing 50% more performance at 24 FPS.........

seems a bit far stretched because only 10 to 20% increase is expected, perhaps 30% for Crysis.

@personaboveme - how many transistors does it have? Im thinking a crapload since radeons have like 2 billion and are fairly small chips....so Fermi has like....a trillion?

a hd5870 has around 2.1 billion
