I had the rental HHRs for a month and I decided today that I will get a KIA Soul when I get back to Seattle Sunday. Hemis, PT Cruiser, HHR and Kia is next. Pics when I pick it up.

The commercials are probably way better than the car.

    I have a 1967 Chevelle, with a 396... and yes, bigger is better :)

but since you would NOT go back to the Hemi, what do you like better about a Kia?

    I drive a practical family hatchback ;)

Just finished a day's cleaning session, so I thought maybe I'd share. Haven't done too much, just wash, clay, paint-clean, single coat of wax, top layer of ultimate quick detailer, wheels, tyres, trims and glass. Conditioned the leather last week and there's still loads to do, but I'm very happy overall.

She's quiet, comfortable, pretty quick and I have a rather lovely audio setup as I love all kinds of music. Not the cheapest to tax, but these things are incredibly good value compared with just about anything else of their age IMHO. She's done over 140k and just keeps eating the miles. Very well built and needs nothing other than regular servicing. I have upgraded the clutch and flywheel because the dual-mass flywheels are a known issue. I'd never had a quick car car before, but she came with everything I wanted cruise, sunroof AND climate, and parking sensors and I figured I should make the most before the government force us all to drive milk floats because of there environmental lies.

I went to a LAN with a Jeep once with my 19" CRT on my lap. I think I almost died 6 times from the weight of the thing and the lack of oxygen

I drive a 2004 Ford Taurus SES and my wife drives a 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE. Not terribly exciting.

I drive a Corsa :( Hoping to get a Volvo 2/7/9 series estate in a year or so... bwahaha

Brand new, instructor mobile, hadn't done 1k. I ended up just swearing and holding it in gear. Also, visibility is awesome. When the point of the car being ****off tiny is to be able to park it in a duck's arse, it helps if you can see... so... put some whacking huge C pillars in, and tiny mirrors. >_<

...And by awesome, I mean awful.... dammit

Yeah, but you live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, so you're allowed :)

Four Corners, Monument Valley and the desert, mountains and gorges all look amazing whatever you drive through them!

Thats true! I do love it here, though the summer can get a bit toasty.

Though I do think the UK is really pretty with all the greenery. I get my UK does from Top Gear.

    you too ?

The roads always look awesome in Top Gear. I wonder if it's a glorified version of reality though

I mean, look at that !

    Beautiful !

Still wondering though. Are the roads that great ?
