There's also the option of (carefully) stripping the psu, and re-casing it to suit your needs. -Although I don't think that's an option with the BeQuiet! psu.
Listan have actually done a decent job in terms of maximising space in the SFX formfactor, so it wouldn't really save much for this PSU I'm still waiting for the fail-boat from China, so in the mean time i grabbed some braid from Chilled PC so i can have a mess around. The other day i just chucked a bit of heatshrink on the power connector on the PicoPSU: Old school hair-dryer of pain: Looks crappy, but it insulates the terminals Thought i'd have a pop at a SATA data cable tonight, i only have the moulded connector though so i had to use a larger ID heatshrink (12.7mm) (the braid isn't too bad as it expands and then pulls taught over the cable) Any way, enough jibber-jabber: The boring run of the mill red defacto SATA data: This is the 10mm - 3/8" whatever size you want to call it, that is black and red with a dense weave: Cut the appropriate size and melted the end to stop it splaying out: Pushed onto the cable: Roughly cut some heatshrink: Heat with a lighter for much faster results than a hair-dryer: Then i added a cable-tie just to keep it held together (on the off chance): Leaving me with:
Great looking mod, you've got a lot of kit in that small case The cable looks nicely sleeved, I especially love the colours you used for the sleeving, never seen any like that before, butthen again I havn't looked very hard
