Logitech G9, not a bad mouse, but basically just an overpriced 518.

Had it for 18 months now, I think, it's holding up very well.

Razer Mamba, 5600 or 4500 dpi. Anything less is just frustrating to use.

On my main rig I use a Coolermaster Sentinel mouse @ 5600DPI
On my laptop I use a Razer Copperhead @ 2000DPI with extra acceleration to get similar movements on screen to the Coolermaster.
And for when I'm sat on my bed with my laptop I use a standard MS optical mouse which I've had for nigh on a decade now, copes with the uneven surface pretty well.

Logitech G5 when Staples were selling them for £20.

G500 is my dream mouse, solves the wheel problem of G5, but still retains its design.

Razer Diamonback at work and a Copperhead at home. Both at full res.

Roccat Kone. It's a mixture of the best bits of Logitech and Razer mice IMO. It has the comfort and perfect button positioning of Razer mice (for my hand anyway), and the excellent button responsiveness and better scroll wheel of the Logitech mice, with 2 additional buttons. I also find the software better and more customisable than Logitech's and Razer's. It has its problems (the wheel is prone to breaking, especially on the older models), but it's the best all-rounder I've come across so far.

Don't you mean a G5? The G9 doesn't look anything like the MX518 (and actually looks horribly uncomfortable).

On sensitivity, I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes TBH. I run mine at 800DPI for FPS games, with the sensitivity turned down to about 40% in the driver. I use the same for all FPS games and just adjust the mouse sensitivity in the game menu to find a suitable level so I don't have to keep fiddling about with it. I only raise the DPI if I'm playing an RTS. I've never really understood the attraction of ridiculously high DPI numbers in mice.

Logitech G500, it was a replacement for my G5. Both brilliant mice.

    Logitech Marble Mouse

It doesn't have a scroll wheel, the ball falls out when I drop it, and after about a year the cord breaks, but this is by far my favorite mouse even though I have gone though 4 of them in the last 5 years.

Logitech G5. Had it since they launched. Still holding up 100%
The sensitivity is completely dependant on what I'm playing. In normal Windows usage, it's way up. in Photoshop i step it down to 1600DPI.
It's also at 1600DPI in most shooters.
In RTS games it's normally all the way up, and in UT (as in all of the UT games), It's all the way down, to 800DPI.

Logitech MX620 (i think, looks the same anyway  )

Might go back to a MS mouse next time though. This mouse is great, but very heavy IMHO. my old MS mouse could run happily with just 1 AA battery instead of two to make it very light and i miss that feature.

If it died I'd get a Roccat Kone though.

Nope I mean 518, never used a G5, never had to use anything but a 518 until my mobo died and took it and a monitor with it to silicon heaven.

G9 is very comfy, I use it with the small hard plastic grip. the large grip is really nice but doesn't suit me. I don't palm.

Hard grip feels almost exactly the same to fingertips, just a touch heavier.

Combination of a wireless logitech Revolution and a wired MS Explorer v3 (also got a v1 kicking around somewhere).
