Amount of money and bacon required to make + amount of dog food not had to be brought - cost of cardboard box to bury dog in after it dies of overdosing on bacon - time spent digging hole + savings you make on not having to buy the wife a fur coat - time spent shaving a dead dog before burial so that the wife gets a fur coat + lolz you get from telling the kids that the dog's dead + lolz you further get from telling the kids that the dog's in tonights' stew = WIN WIN WIN!

Your equation is flawed. The box and digging the hole is unnecessary if you skin and cook the dog.

 

You need something for the kids to remember the dog by... if not by being sick after the meal then the box + hole would suffice.

 

Not to mention somewhere to put the bones...after you've used them to make some dog stock, of course

What is your problem?

Some would argue that reposts add content to the thread, because there's a certain separation, both spacial and temporal, that two identical images can have and still be funny both times. We're near 15k posts on this. If it was posted 5k posts ago, chances are we've waited long enough and seen enough intermediate content that it's funny the second time (assuming it was funny the first time).

Many others, of course, would argue that they don't add content, especially if it has been reposted previously to the point of saturating the thread (see: patrick not sparta). These people might complain about something that has been reposted ad nauseum, but usually don't care if there's an occasional repost of something, because who can keep track of all these images?

But you, Losenis, you jam the square peg into the round hole. You arrive here, and start posting the same couple of stupid and not-funny "It's a repost!" images at every opportunity possible, especially when no one else notices or cares. A few people make a couple "repost nazi" jokes about you, and next thing we know, you've become an incredibly obnoxious "repost police" who makes dozens of posts in this thread solely for the purpose of complaining about reposts. Not only that, but then you revel in your pseudo-Nazism by changing your avatar and title and sig to reflect it, and then act like you own the forum.

It's getting old. Bitch out someone who posts patrick not sparta, fine, but stop wasting everyone's time reading your posts that just criticize harmless reposts.

 

I'm a LARP-Player, so maybe -the money for bones to build an awesome shaman staff.
But kids remembering the dog? Are the kids that soft nowadays? Wenn my pets died (or I found something dead), I buried it, saluted, forgot it and exhumed it a year later, to look at the bones.

 

I agree but I fear this might turn into a flamewar like we had months ago. If this happens again, I doubt this thread will survive for long. If it doesn't I hope it's not deleted, otherwise I will lose a crapload of posts
