This is pure win! How to get that much perfection into a mod, using basic tools puzzles me. This is one of those project, you just know will end on the frontpage! Keep it up!

    Thanks everyone. :thumb:

I got sick of filing so decided to mount the struts. :D I'll clean them up another time.

Positions were marked up and 4mm holes drilled for the M4 bolts to pass through.

Then some 7.5mm holes were drilled to accept the head of the bolts.

The struts were drilled and tapped.

    And assembled.

    To get this.

Here's a comparison with CX1 so can see the size. So far Nair weighs 3.7kgs so I expect it
to come in under half the weight of CX1. :)

    Back soon. :)

I was kind of thinking that too...but something tells me the end products will be quite a bit different. That said, he could be using the new project to develop ideas that he got mid-way through CX1.

I love trying to guess ;)

I just wonder, that fan body, is it only held up by press fitting?

    Haha, thanks.

Shomann got it. I began thinking about this not long after CX1 was started but it won't look
like CX1. Of course there are similarities, particularly in the arrangement of components, but
this is merely logical and is pretty standard for many systems.

At the moment, yes. But they will be fixed securely later on. :thumb:

Thanks a lot everyone., :thumb: I haven't had much time lately but I've still
done some work. The part(s) I'm working on is the cable management, and this
is a bit tricky, I just keep having to remake parts so I haven't got very far, hence
not much to show you. :duh: Should have something in a couple of days. ;)
