    yeah, it never gets easier, I know that feeling all over, stuff just doesn't make sense, 10 half? what, how can my dodgy cabling mean 10 half duplex, stupid cables! etc.

    Crimping is almost relaxing to me; I zone out, untwist, straighten, cut, crimp. I've gotten used to it I guess.

    I'm a network technician and one of my duties lately has been to help our other centers to upgrade the WiFi and install new Cisco switches. I'm in Cincinnati right now for that very reason. I think I did around 40 crimps today. Not a ton mind you, I've done shows with over 2500 wired connections. I get the cables back and I have to fix them if they're broken. I think I ended up fixing about 400 of them from that show. At least I was able to work on those at my own pace mixed in with my regular work installing and testing orders for internet at conventions.
