Thanks - I was hoping for the sunset to be a bit more firey, but it didn't come off... still a great evening though! it's a 1sec exposure Nice work NiHiLiST!
I enlisted into compulsory national service (i.e army) couple weeks ago (26 apr). Came home for the first time last evening. Since we had to cut our hair short, some friends and I who enlisted on the same day spent the afternoon before messing with each other's hair.
Thanks for the comments folks Yep, it was a 1 second exposure at ISO 100, high f-stop and an ND filter, since the sun was still up enough to illuminate the windmills so it was pretty bright.
Thanks mate. Was sat in the garden this afternoon, and managed to get a photo when the sun decided to stop lingering behind thee clouds!
Another question on this photo. Have you photoshopped it? did you use black and white mode while taking this photo? is that grass in the fields? if yes then why isn't it looks green? sorry for this rubbish questions. But I cannot answer myself.
It was shot in RAW an converted to black and white in Apple Aperture, but you could do the same in Photoshop easily, it's just a matter of playing with levels and the black and white adjustment.
This thing just flew straight in to my head (I hate them). I am not really sure about the second one, if it violates forum rules I will remove it.
