I really like the second picture eddie.

And irony - here's an HDR of the trees down the street. I'm just getting started, so excuse the uninspired composition.

    Another HDR shot:

Love the 2nd one; you can really feel the sunlight from it. Top stuff.

Thanks. I've taken a few picture of the Warren during the day, but the light made it look a bit flat. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time for this one.

f16, ISO 200 + 0.3 compensation. Went down town to the camera shop but they were closed up for lunch; so took a wander around town.

BTW, after using it for a while, I think the KatzEye is ****ing amazing.

This is my first contribution to this thread, and I don't have a great camera so please don't be too harsh!

I spent the day at the Loughgall park rally yesterday and had the point-&-shoot out (hopefully for the last time before I get my Canon) but managed to get a few decent shots, my favourite of which is this action shot of Gerard McLoughlin in his Opel Manta coming out of a 90 left turn:

Well timed shot but I can't help but think it would look a lot better if it were zoomed out more.

I find when panning its normally better to frame the picture so there is room for the action to move into. Its a great shot in terms of focus but i'm looking from left to right, and when i get there i think where is the rest of the picture :p

@ Stonesurd & teamtd: I totally agree, but for that shot I actually had the camera zoomed for them coming sideways on the corner with the opposite lock on, but I missed him beause someone stepped in front of me and moved quickly to get that shot. I really want a new camera now. The shutter speed on the Casio is just completely wrong for motorsports photography!

One from my recent trip to Cornwall of St Michael's Mount and Marazion. I've only just got around to finishing the big sort, so there's more to come.

I went on an afternoon shooting round Manchester yesterday as part of a free event. We got split into 5 groups and each was briefed by a respected Mancunian photographer, something I've never done before; it was a cracking day.

These are just a few snaps I took along the way, not necessarily related to my brief or chosen theme :)
