Exam season is upon us, so who's up to what? I've got A2 Maths, Bio, Physics and Design over the next few weeks, bleh.
I'm at Uni doing a maths+computer science joint honours degree, and this exam period I've had/have 6 exams (I have 6, and have done 5 already) So far I've done: database systems (was 'easy' enough), human computer interaction (bit boring but also 'easy' enough), series and transforms (Worse. Exam. Ever. Epic fail ftl!!), complex analysis (think I done okay on it, nothing too good though), software engineering (easy-ish but boring as heck) Then I've got an exam called "Systems design" (which is also very boring) next Wednesday. Then 4 months off though, so it balances out Good luck in your upcoming exams Out of interest, by "Design" do you mean "Product and design" (I done that at AS), or another exam?
AS Critical Thinking, both exams now done. Chemistry Unit 1 done. Tommorow I've got Maths C1 and M1 and Thursday I've got Physics Unit 1 and Maths D1 and S1. After Half term I've then got unit 2 Chemistry, Physics 2 and Maths C2 on the same day. And Finally Maths FP1, thirteen days after everything else.
2 down 3 to go for me, first (Structural engineering 3) was possibly the worst exam ever. Geotechnics 3 tomorrow could be just as bad though
Hehe yep, I know what you mean. It's not all that interesting however they're fairly lenient with the marking.
So far i've done Maths, English and IT functional skills and this week i'm due to do two spanish exams and IT unit 1 as part of my diploma (which is why i've done Maths&English FS). Edit: I've also done 8 of my 10 science exams this year with more ISAs and two more module exams to do in the next month.
i am doing AS i have done my geography i have got maths tommorow M1 and C1 tomorrow and they are both in the after noon so 2 hrs maths 5 min break then another 2 hrs of more maths then on the 27th i have a physics mechanics exam 28th DT exam 9th i have physics in the after noon i have got a C2 maths exam and i am really worried about my maths and physics so bloody hard
A2 Maths, Computing, Biology, Chemistry. I have 8 exams (inc. resits) >.> First one on Thurs. As for what I'm up to now, that would be.. drinking!
Linear Algebra tomorrow, advanced calculus on tuesday. Metaphysics on thursday, philosophy of science on Friday. What a week.
I had my fourth year uni exams recently. They started last Wednesday, and finished on Wednesday past. Last Wed - Professional Studies Last Fri - Engineering Science I Monday past - Software Development Wednesday past - Engineering Science II Only one (maybe two) more years of doing exams for me Then I get to decide whether to do a PhD or not Methinks: no. Not now anyway. I've been in higher level education for way too long already. I might, maybe, consider it when I'm older.
No. Tell us, what is in 2nd year physics? I'm slightly curious, and until you tell me otherwise I'm just going to assume it's like maths but easier (to annoy you, in order to give you a reason to tell us what you did).
If that's anything like our professional studies (civil engineering at Bristol University) then ours was just coursework, what sort of stuff do you have to do?
I'm sitting 6 modules in maths this June so I'll have 9 Maths modules in total before I start my A2 year. I also have 2 AS modules in each of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics and General Studies. I did Chemistry, Electronics and General Studies last week so I have about 11 to go. FML.
I've already done 2 out of my 3 exams for my second year at Uni. First one was a Database Design and Implementation exam, which was pretty easy. And last week on Thursday, I had my AI & Modelling exam, which was also alright. ANd next week, on Wednesday I've got my C++ exam. On track for a 1st in my second year.
1st year of Electronic Engineering at Southampton Uni.. 3 Exams this week 3 Next week. and the first one is maths Other than that, its Digital Circuits and microprocessors, Analogue Electronics, Communications and Control, Engineering Physics and lastly C#. I'm almost looking forward to the last one. looks nice and easy "What is encapsulation?" -5 Marks Oh... and this is what i'm doing instead of revising for maths tomorrow...
