    I just hope they have one of those special episodes. I love those. Or at least a proper road trip/challenge/race.

    I enjoy the stupidity as i know nothing about cars. But when they have 6p and 2 baked beans cans and they have to make a flying car. I'm there, and i'm watching.

    James just happened to take a trip to the Icelandic volcano before it started erupting - Top Gear therefore caused the travel chaos!
    Four-door supercars test: Panamera vs Rapide
    Affordable sports saloons: the team have £5,000 each to buy a practical track weapon and take it to Germany.
    Motorhomes: the boys invent their own motorhomes based around normal cars and take them for a weekend in Cornwall. Jeremy wears a wetsuit...best to avoid eating around that time.
    Jeremy drives a Reliant Robin through Yorkshire, much hilarity ensues.
    Baja VW Touareg vs. a snowmobile.
    The destruction of the Lacetti noooo...
    British sports cars: £5k each to buy a British icon and visit their old factories of origin.
    Power laps in the Bentley Conti SS, 911 Turbo cabrio, R8 V10 Spyder, Ferrari 458, Chevy Camaro, AMG E63, Boxster Spyder and a new Bugatti...

    Answer to one particular spoiler:

    That 5k challenge is easy. Mitsi Evo III or IV and they would destroy all-comers :) The evos from III through to about VI or VII are considered the peak of the Evo series, and they definitely fit into the sports saloon series ;) God I miss my Evo VI :(

    I hadn't watched it when I typed the post you quoted, otherwise I would have called it the "North Pole Special" because.. you know.. they go to the North Pole. They just start in Canada.


    I really wish they would make a special on our roads though ,that would be great
