I have some M4 socket cap screws holding fans securely to my rads. I use the bottom of the two holes to accomplish this and it hides the mounting quite well for me.
Thanks again for all the help! Though, this is how I have my fans setup: http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/6419/dilemma1.jpg That is how I planned to mount the fans. e: I just saw DeltaFX's post. Thanks!
I got tired of playing with the supports so my hand was turned to completing the fan carrier/front panel. Some 8mm plex was bought for this, and apart from having to make some plastic discs (because of the raised inner section of the fan bodies) it was cut and shaped as per usual for alu. So just some pics. Still work to do, but I'm always in a hurry to see what it looks like. Back soon.
nice done man, I thought the complete time you want to keep the face of the front till the end and you need therefore the GFX-Card. But thats very tasty too. Now I'm even more interrested in the form of the outside of this build!
Very nice. The clear look will compliment the floating fans. Edit: I don't like the screws on alu, anyway you can hide them or something.
And to think Bit-tech allows this kind of pr0n? Oh well, amazing nonetheless. This mod is the epitome of the phrase "It's so awesome I don't know what it's going to look like when completed!"
The inclusion of plexi up front allows you to preserve the functionality of a rectangular bezel (full fan intake without obstruction of airflow) while creating lines that are not boxy. Bravo!
