I want more destructible buildings. Which won't happen if there are trees (in the jungle), as they all fall over very quickly when the 40mms are flying :(

why is that may i ask?

for me, enemy seems to be everywhere, the front line are way too wide spread, thus making my assault of choice: smoke pretty useless. (i usually flank them, with smoke screen between myself and enemy)

the sun is in defender's eye for any counter sniping.

also, there is zero good recon sniping spots due to huge number of those stupid trees, unlike in Arica Harbour, Port V and Isle Innocent

more Arica Harbour please! more Destruction 2.0 awesomeness. (and more place to hide as a recon, with me motion balls)

Amen! Mind you, I bet you they'll introduce Onslaught mode for this, and not in BC2 :p

I never played BF:V, how did it work? Surely the Vietminh should have mostly-inferior weaponry but better spawn points?

Do the GI's get choppered in?

Some bases were on seperate islands etc. Or it starts in a city. Operation Irving had a huge walk around to get to the American bases, so the only real way is to boat in, fly in or you have to get to tha choppah.

well that's going to be a huge middle finger from DICE if they do.

Vietnam should be good, still practising my skill to spot people in foliage.

Really looking forward to this game, there is a group of us that play BC2 - when this was announced we all said we would get it.

I would happily pay another £30 for this expansion if it added enough extra vehicles, weapons and maps.

Iir, it was usually fairly balanced. The VC had Russian hardware to counter the Americans, such as the MiG 21 and T54 tank. Maps were pretty much the standard Battlefield capture and hold, with VC camps/clearings and American forward bases being the starting point.

Some maps relied heavily on vehicles, so one side would need to drive, fly or boat each other across the map. American gunboats, VC sampans, Hueys and Mi8s were all vulnerable to a well organised ambush though.

A feature of the vehicles was that you could choose a track from a list which you and anyone near your vehicle could hear. Deep Purple, Jefferson Airplane, The Kinks, Wagner were all on the list. Gunning down the enemy to "I Fought the Law" never grew old.

The original game hasn’t aged well and is kinda frustrating to play these days. The guns are fixed by your hip with no iron sights mode and the draw distances for things like grass aren't great. Still, it's was a classic in its time.

Can't wait for this, if it's half as good as BC2 with the different vehicles it'll be a nice change of scenery.

I think its DLC, which I'm pretty sure that PC players will get free - like the map packs.

Seriously? I was under the impression the 'VIP' map packs were going to be free, but Vietnam would be £££.

Can you link me anything? If that's true, that's awesome

That would be impressive, and a big fu to activision.

It must cost money though, surely.
