    Wonder if it will be like the last order i tried from Amazon - order an item 'in stock' and then receive an e-mail saying that it will in fact be a couple of weeks before they have stock.

    Who would actually use this for fresh food I mean I feel your taking the risk from the normal supermarket website on that stuff.

    Still tempted to make a small shop up on it and see me pay 30 quid for food and about £50 for shipping.

    Still I'm going to see if my Prime account helps me with the nice range of retro sweets they seem to have.

    For christmas i bought 2 cheesecakes from the english cheesecake company and that came to £57, Very expensive but cheesecake's a serious thing!

    Am I a bit early in saying that amazon's grocery idea is going to fail? They are too overpriced compared to the supermarkets.

    i.e box of 48 walkers paprika crips, £18! last 32 box I got from asda for £5!

    I hope they do eventually introduce the 2 hour slot, for some creative delivery abuse:

    Just order 1 4oz bag of crisps and a 60" plasma for delivery.

    Insane idea. I'll buy food from a food company thanks.

    On a tangent, saw my first e-reader in use on the tube, that was the last big thing pimped just before last Christmas by Amazon and other sites. So on that evidence people will only give this a proper go at the end of the year and during next winter - if they're the kind of groceries that don't attract VAT.
