I could. But I'd rather you let Chris Nolan explain himself in his own genius way ;)

Are you familiar with the rest of his work?

Nice. If we're talking at that level......

It's got the cinematic quality of TDK with the noodle baking capability of Memento and then plenty of Wachowski-esque craziness thrown in.

In short, stop talking to me and refer to my first post :thumb:

This movie is amazing. Just watched it in Leicester Square and I was thoroughly impressed by it. Stunned, even. I would recommend it to everyone!

I was hoping there'd be a thread here about this...

Just saw it on imax in birmingham - absolutely immense. a gripping, pacey film, with a good idea at its core. i cant remember enjoying a blockbuster like this for a long time!

    definite must-see

    :)

The trailers and posters are awesome... I have been waiting for this ever since I saw the utterly disappointing Iron Man 2

    Glad you peeps enjoyed it.

It's not a question of asking in here why. Just go. Trust me (a total stranger on the internet).

The quality of a film can usually come down to the details, when everything else is perfect, Inception "details" are perfect. I can really say much about the film other than it had some stunning fights (they will leave you wondering how the hell they were done), a brilliant story (drawing you in, allowing you to accept the reality easily) and perfect tension (thriller), well worth a watch.

So is it a film that you will have to go and see twice to fully understand and appreciate it, like Memento?

Damnit you made me interested. Definitely gonna head to the cinema if I can grab a free ticket somewhere ;)

Granted, there aren't many votes on IMDB yet, but the vote history sure seems promising:
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1375666/ratings
Would be even higher if there weren't 185 people (and counting) that apparently just didn't get it.

I didn't expect it to be as complicated as Memento. No you guys scared me a little. I can still miss a word here and there because of the language barrier and it made it extremely difficult to understand Memento (I think I did though... I think). I refuse to see it in French though. **** that

Not many films make me want to see it again after it has just finished.
Inception is an incredible piece of work.
I saw it yesterday lunch time and have not stopped thinking about it since.
Does it deserve to be at position 3 on imdb's top 250? Hell yeah.
I am going to see it again.
Then I am going to wait in agony for the blu-ray release.
    I cannot recommend enough.

I went to see it on Friday, was blown away then went to the pub yesterday and a big group of us went to see it again, brilliant clever film that I massively enjoyed both times.
