Has anyone else heard of this game? I have to say it looks the most atmospheric and downright creepy game I've seen in a long time. Now if only my Xbox wasn't banned from live I might be able to get it. Anyway, here's a trailer: A nice little preview, And here be a review Discuss.
Mmm... Pretty sure it'd look slightly better on the PC too. These sorts of slower moving games need to be pumped full of AA, which the xbox 360 isn't quite so good at.
Really looking forward to Limbo, the amount of independent developer awards it's won so far is insane. Also, guys you may as well forget about a PC port. Limbo is a Summer of Arcade game, which means 360 exclusivity.
Not sure if I agree with you on this, Limbo is all blurred to hell anyway so I don't think AA will make a huge amount of difference. Besides the eDRAM on the 360's Xenos GPU gives you basically free 2x MSAA so there's at least something. I'll be picking up some MSPoints sometime today to buy it
Yeah, defo getting this... so far scores all above 9! Tell you what, there has been absolutely no drought of good games this summer! I'm enjoying it even more than xmas!
Anyone seen or played this game? (Limbo HD) watched the trailer earlier on youtube. looks really cool, has anyone played it yet?? and will it be coming to steam ?
True, this game doesn't exactly need a PC that can run Crysis... and the post processing effects get rid of the jaggies... it looks damn beautiful. Just wish I had some choice on the platform, seeing as I could (more than likely) run this game on me laptop. Also I don't really feel like forking out at least £80 for a new 360 for a game that costs £10...
As far as I know it's a four week 360 exclusive as part of the Summer of Arcade, no doubt it'll come to PC eventually a-la Braid. Downloaded yesterday but I haven't had a chance to play yet
