Just had a quick little bash - my 7600gt didn't like it very much, neither did my crappy wireless connection (or I was just connecting to high latency servers).
Steam name should be in sig, also in BT Steam group. Always ready for a game! Game runs great for me, set everything to max and it's been no sweat for the 5870. Sounds like you might have some specific problems, PeteJ.
I'm having trouble connecting to games. It starts loading then says something like "unsuccessful after 10 attempts". I've had a bash on the offline mode though. Good fun
Mine running fine on a 4850 at 1680x1050 although often drops to 25 fps but is still perfect ally playable
Played it for a while earlier, considering it is a free game it is pretty good, and so nice and simple too.
Holy whistling ducksht Batman! What are you doing to that poor machine?! My 5850 is running it at 1920 x 1200 and hitting around 63°C. I'll try it in 5040 x 1050 (if I can force it to that) once the bandwidth leeches (aka "younglings" or "spawn") have gone to bed.
How on earth is this stressing your GPU? This game runs on my 8800GTS 320MB on full graphics at 1920x1200 with 2xAA at ~50fps Edit: Just realised you had Fermis... No wonder they be hot.
Understandable with gtx 480, I think they can take the heat though. Its really warm in my spare room at the moment. I don't do hardly any gpu overclocking when its like this, its just too damned hot, at least for air cooling anyway.
Go into the options and disable the option for "autofind LAN games". I had the same issue, disabled that and it worked. Just turn it back on if you want to play on LAN I need more corpsmen to join me in the campaign, people! Add me (my SteamID is in the website on my sig).
