Playstation 3 New GT5 thread

I forsee GT5 falling into 2 camps, those who will buy it for the gfx and get bored simply collecting cars after 3 months and those who appreciate the joy of driving and will play it for years.

I am deffo in the latter camp and id give it six months for the retards to start buggering off from ruining online play. eitgher that or i could make a race with max penalties. hmmm

 

with the test track... I can definately see at least one tie in

Maybe they'll make their guests go around the track in real life and the game...

Well, I bought a PS1 for GT, a PS2 for GT3, and I'll be buying a PS3 for GT5... *dribble* that looks stunning! Hopefully the game will be as good as the shiny!

 

Ironically, this line would be impossible pre-Slim.

 

Well you better get a G25 to go with it. joypad is not how to experience this.

I really hope they implement a proper penalty system, i hate racing against 'bargy' little kiddies! I even get angry at myself if i fudge a corner and hit somebody else.

I suppose as long as they allow races without driving aids ill be happy.

 

I bought a G25, a PS3 and a 40" 1080p TV for this damn game. It can't come out soon enough indeed

I got mine when play were selling them for £100, i saw one sell on ebay a few weeks ago for £160 used! Even so id still be prepared to pay £150ish for one, any higher though and it starts getting closer to the G27 (ive seen them for around £250).

I wouldnt have bought it just for one game, but mine gets used in GTR,rFactor,TDU(pc),GT5P probably some more, so its more than worth it.

Keep trawling ebay and ive seen 1 pop up for sale on facebook local to me. If you leave it till GT5s release i can see the prices rising slightly

it is compatible. It even works with the PS2 Slim. I can't confirm for the 360 however

 

It doesnt work with the 360, or at least it doesnt work as it should, something to do with microsoft only allowing wheels theat act the same as controllers or some BS, there was a thread on the logitech forums about it but i cant find it atm.

Been playing Prologue again tonight. Forgot how fun the F1 car is against anything that isn't another F1 car. And by fun I mean unbeatably fast

 

I would kill to have ethis game...now, for a steering wheel!

 

I'd be disappointed if the F1 car was anything but totally unbeatable 'cept in a straight line.
