    I wanted to get one for my Mum for ages but they were too pricey, considering it more now. £149 for the 3G one isn't too bad either.

    Well. The Kindle store is full of free books (Free well known books, classic books). The kindle is worth all of that content alone.

    Seriously want. 1 month battery life? a full keyboard? Native PDF support? Free 3G access to wikipedia? All it really needs is a case with 'Don't Panic' on the front in big, friendly letters...

    I have an iphone for 3G access anyway, that's why a Wi-Fi one will be fine. I'm on the verge of ordering one.

    How does the price of an average ebook compare to its physical counterpart? Do they ever have good discounts/sales?

    One thing that really annoys me about digitally distributed media is that (aside from Steam), it hardly ever gets discounted. Due to there being no inventory, stuff just seems to stay at its RRP forever.

    Looks more and more tempting as the price goes down, but I'd rather have an Android tablet for the price.. Kmart has one for $150 now, and the prices of others should be coming down.

    But you can't read them for hours on end without straining your eyes like an e-reader.

    wow that looks very tempting for my holiday. A work mate had the sony e-reader and i was very impressed with it but this looks like its in a different class.
