Windows Battlefield 3

Ah nice one as long as it's as good as BC2 I'll be happy, already got MOH pre-ordered, always loved their games.

 

If enough people want to play a game of BF2 I can actually flip the server over to it for a night.

It's pretty easy to do.

BF2 was the best game of its genre I personally hate BFBC2 and have uninstalled it from my pc,the only problem with bf2 was the mount of cheating idiots using aimbots and software such as murdercheats 187ci not only taking away the challenge in the game but also sploiling the fun for us fair playing genuine players. and those abusing thier admin and banning players that are good at the game simply because they play well and have maybe killed said admin more than once in a round a sad reality in gaming along with those using the admin map to see where enemy are to enhance their game scores hopefully this will not happen in bf3 but i doubt it

 

I'm an admin and sometimes its hard to deliberate between players that really are just that good and ones that are hacking, if you get shot by the same person repeatedly you automatically start to wonder, why wouldn't you.

I have only banned 4 people from our server (I think its 4) and in those instances there was no doubt about it, PBbans checks proved they had history of previous hacking and we have a no tollerance rule for people with previous history.

Adminning a sever can be a royal pain in the ass and you rarely get thanked for taking time out of your game to deal with all diddlies that come on.

 

In my opinion BF2 was one of the best MP FPS's of its time, I can't wait for number 3.

 

I was never really into BF2, partly because I got into PC gaming around the time COD4 came out, and I went straight into that. Then between getting bored of COD4 and BFBC2 coming out, I decided to try out BF2, a mate played it a lot. So I teamed up with him and it was awesome! I was a crap jet pilot, decentish chopper pilot, but I was better playing as a medic or sniper.

Never scored that highly tbh, still enjoyed it though!

Can't wait for number 3 to come out. Hopefully I won't be getting raped so easily since it's a new game!

But for the mean time, I'm off to jack about on BC2...

BFBC2 is pretty good, it's a compromised CoD version of Battlefield series. hopefully BC2 will have converted some CoD fans to become aware of Battlefield franchise.

 

Lol at the people who think they're buying BF3 Beta and getting MOH as a bonus... you're paying for MOH, the bonus is BF3 beta, not the other way around...

Anyways, Dice are handling MOH multiplayer so I'm not worried at all there. But, BF3, oh **** yeah that's good.

 

I agree with you totally crapbag m8 I am also an admin and as such I know how difficult it is the bad admins I refere to are those that know without doubt that the players they're banning are not either cheating or breaking server rules they just cant take being owned by better players I have seen it too many times in bF2. I myself have one of the worst kdrs in BF2 in fact im the only holder of the BF2 EXPERT SPECIALIST DEATH MEDAL awarded by my friend trendsonic for 145 deaths in 1 round may I add also it was not on a stat pad server or stat padding,it was in my early bf2 days as a rooky player I was going for the expert air defense medal only my 3rd day playing bf2 didnt realise there were anti air vehicles like the linebacker so sat at the stinger shooting at aircraft on KDMF server I stupidly posted on screen what i was going for the whole KDMF clan ganged up on me by the end of the round I was 145 deaths and only 26 kills had great fun game despite the deaths KDMF FLYBYNIGHT still remembers it 5 years later almost

 

Were these actual hacks that PB picked up, or just previous bans?

Not that long ago i was banned from a COD4 server, i pissed off one of the admins with a 5 kill streak in a 6v6 S&D round.

Turns out he banned me because i've been banned from other servers... So now i have a criminal record because some **** thought i was firing the G3 too fast back in 2008 or something.

Bind fire to scroll wheel, equip G3 with Deagle as secondary... enjoy as people "WTF" all over the place and ban you.

 

I preferred to use the M9 with a silencer, plus the G3 with a silencer, S&D was a fun experience.

 

I don't need a scrollwheel. I like to place my shots instead of scrolling away furiously at the enemy.

But that doesn't keep them from banning me :/

 

Yeah, that happens. Admins will check your id off lists and class it as evidence.

 

Just sayin' that if you got banned for firing too fast clicking then see what happens when you scroll. I spent many a round trolling people by running around with my "full auto" G3 and laughing as people asked how I unlocked it

It is utterly useless, however. You'll find that its recoil is insane compared to a weapon which is meant to be full auto. Better in close quarters than a shotgun, though! Those things were terrible in CoD4...

 

I actually enjoy playing with the W1200 a lot, you just have to know when to stay away. I don't think i ever got much higher than 1KD using it though, lol.

 

I loved the W1200! Got a 4:1 KDR with it, God I loved that weapon! Could never find a weapon in any game so far that came close to it!

 

The reason I say shotguns are terrible is a little thing I noticed while going for the gold M1014 (never got it). Turns out after 50 feet or so shotgun pellets will completely vanish. They don't just get too spread out to consistently hit, they don't weaken to the point of being useless, they just no longer exist at all. Fire at a large wall at increasingly farther distances away and you'll notice that after a point you won't leave holes in the wall anymore because your shots vanish. Felt it was a pretty rubbish way of balancing a weapon since it is completely unrealistic.

Me also thinks BFBC2 might do this, but have yet to test it.
