The superb work continues. I do however feel a bit iffy about the flat cable, the common USB-cables are pretty well shielded for a reason.. Anyway I really hope that works and have no doubt you can make it work even if it doesn't :)

18th Update [10th Aug 2010] SATA ports mod and first lanparty

Hi again, I uploaded more pics, this time from days before CP:Europe lanparty. You can see a little modification to pass cables trough the mobo tray and the first "practical" setup, this time running on air.

Too narrow, just for few cables.

Beautiful work! Forgive me if I have missed it - how do you switch it on?

This is really a great question! In the bios, I turned on the option for start the computer after a power loss. With this, I can turn on simply switching the power supply switch. Of course this is a temporal workaround.

Makes sense. I currently have Aurora set up in a sleep on/off. Hit sleep when I want it off, then hit any key on the keyboard when i want it instant on! Don't really need the power button on the front of the case now TBH lol

Trying to figure out a power switch setup for Aperture o² though :S Will make note of your current method as a temp workaround :)
