Battery has died on my Macbook and needs replacing. Won't charge and will cost £99 to replace.

Stupid technology.

 

School starts tomorrow. Yey a 19 credit hour semester. >.<

 

Crack the batteries open and see what cells they are using; chances are you can replace them for alot less thna the cost of a whole new battery...


Currently, for me:

My manager got sacked for 'not safe guarding the takings' at work. Basically he didnt do his paper & computer work properly and now it looks liek about £7k is missing from the takings- probably all computer/ e-prophit related but he just wasnt that commited and would disappear for hours on end rather than concentrate on work, and now hes been sacked as a result by his managers higher up.

We are also another person down at work as one guy left recently and the lady we hired to replace him only turned up for one day then never came back; that leaves 2 full time staff and one part timer who does 2 days a week; when we come back after the summer break I dont know WTF is going to happen exactly as 2 staff members isnt enough to run a shop 7 days a week from 7am to 9pm.

Also, both my soldering irons crapped out on me half way through putting new connectors on my R/C lipo batteries, got to wait about 3-5 days before the new ones turn up.

It never rains but it pours....

 

I feel your pain on the 19 credits.....

the fact that lotus frikken Notes (7... can't speak of newer versions) seems to have been written by a bunch of spiteful monkey c***s. They hate developers, favour idiots, and hate anything over 32K.

 

Currently having to child mind for my minister and to prevent constant tantrum i have to play barbie girl by aqua over and over. I am going crazy after 12 plays.

 

Some chav teenage idiot stuck his torso through our window and scared the living daylights out of my fiancee tonight.

Reported it to the police and they're treating it as attempted burglary.

There's fingerprints on the glass which we think belong to the chav.

I have a little project going at the minute. It's supposed to be fun but it's going my head in at the moment. I have some C I'm writing to run on an AVR microcontroller and I'm being stumped by a weird bug in what should be a really simple part of the program.

Anyways.... so i found out this weekend, I'm not as smooth with teh ladies as I thought I was. Atleast not in person. I need moar practice.

 

Working ridiculously hard for free.... that good old 'experience' building exercise.

If only the world was an MMO, i'd be so damn well off.

Oh and women. Working all the time is really getting to her.

 

Not having my drivers license. Long story short in Canada theres your g1 which requires you to be with a full g licensed driver in order to drive, your g2 so you can drive on your own and your full g so you don't really have limits on driving times, passengers, alcohol, etc.

Got too used to being driven everywhere by my brothers and now that i've met a girl I can't exactly go out with her since I only have my g1. Shall have my g2 in a month or so but regardless, my own fault and I'm kicking myself in the face now over it.

Alcohol could also be a double edged sword. I've done a few stupid things over the last week or 2 because I drank too much and was a bit foolish to say the least.

not like i just play games all evening. i pretty much spend my entire evening talking to girls.

 

Walk around town and talk to strangers. People will think you're an upmarket bum, but that doesn't really matter.

Also, "talking" to girls is only 50% cool if it's not face to face. Get on it!
