http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?SearchText=460&Country=&CatId=708044&IndexArea=product_en&fsb=y seems to good to be true, Im going to say now i think these are probably a scam of some description but after hearing about the website a few days ago on the radio (advert) thought i would give it a look anyone have $200 for a pair of 460's? http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/336652309/EVGA_01g_p3_1373_tr_GeForce.html
Looks dodgy... but then again, might be worth the risk? Would be nice if there's a bit-tech-er that has already dealt with this website before.
Are they trade/bulk suppliers? You may find you have to buy 1000 of them to get that price, go through customs as an importer and pay duty?
It tells you the min. order on the site, ranges from 1 unit to 1 ton? I'm guessing that's 1000. Also, I'm assuming you still don't get 50-75% off when buying such amounts.
http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/336982745/2010_hot_sell_Video_card_Galaxy.html CMON just take a look at that page, then back at me, then the page. Now imagine my impression. You could also look just as skeptically amused if you went through a couple of the listings.
That plastics company looks very honest [/sarcasm] I particularly enjoyed the specs of the ATi 3650 in the listing
I wouldn't risk it personally. Firstly the site name doesn't inspire confidence, 'Alibaba' from China lol. Seems rediculously cheap as well $40-$50 per card, I mean really?! Has to be a scam. They accept paypal so even if it is a scam you can always make a a claim and get a refund should the deal turn out to be sour.
Alibaba is a legit site, it was setup to link suppliers to trade buyers. Haven't you seen the TV adverts? However, this does not mean that the advertisers are legit. Think Ebay here - caveat emptor.
