Yeah, it will be worth it. I need to get it done and shipped out.

Lol, the tag seems eerily appropriate...

Haha, I think the same could be said for almost any state.

It's already started... I wonder if I can get my hands on this tech?

I definitely am. I think Stuart is even more anxious. :D I wasn't home when it arrived, although I think it had to be a mule.

    Lol, hilarious!

Yeah, you're right. We don't need any further delays. If it does become sentient, it will have to do it without my help. Lol.

Although I've been concentrating on Project: Hutch this past week, I've had time to think about adding a few more small things to OSIDIAS. It's getting a digital TV tuner, as well as an USB infrared receiver. I already use both of these things on my current system, so why not integrate them? It will certainly save desktop clutter. :D

Yes I hope you finalise Project Hutch as soon as possible.

Adding a digital TV tuner  ... I think blutooth capability will be good and wifi :D if you can squeeze those in :D

Yeah, me too. I should be able to get some paint on it next week. I've got a bunch of small updates that I've been saving up. Nothing terribly extensive, so I've been holding off.

It will have bluetooth, but since it's just a USB dongle, it's not like it really takes up any space. I've got the Wi-Fi covered as well. The main system, the pico, and the Viliv are all connected via a Asus wireless hub as well as a regular ethernet hub. The idea is that OSIDIAS can be networked anywhere at anytime either wired or wireless.

Good luck with those updates mate. :)

One reason we call it skynet :D. It is only a matter of time before OSIDIAS becomes intelligent and takes over the world!!!

    Lol, you just never know.

    Haha, that's funny!

No worries mate! I've just been wrapping up the Hutch project. I've also been working on a brand new ITX gaming case design that I'll be making for resale. OSIDIAS is not forgotten in the least and I'll have updates for you all soon!

Which interior? On OSIDIAS or the ITX project? Either one will involve large amounts of creativity to keep clean considering the tight spaces.

Lol, exactly. Despite outward appearances, I do have a limited budget for this project. It's just been so long in the planning that parts have accumulated over time. Any side projects that can earn me a profit will ensure the completion of OSIDIAS and anything beyond. Since I have a habit of trying to outdo previous projects, I have to set the bar even higher the next time around. :D

Yes it is! Lol, I'm sorry for keeping everyone hanging. I hadn't commented in this thread lately because I know it's torturous to check threads and see no real updates. ;) However, even though I've not shown any images of the ITX concept here, the members of my forum have seen it. I've posted a few pics of it in my chat (available for registered and logged in members only.) :thumb:

Don't worry bro, I'll reveal when I'm ready. It's designed to be made completely on my CNC machine, but I need to finish up a few design details, and then machine a case. I need to get an idea of what kind of production time is involved. Materials and the time involved will affect selling price.
