    Hi guys,

    I spotted this good article on the AMD Phenom and Athlon refresh. Worth a read - some interesting parts there.

    The V.Cores of those chips look a little high for stock. That, to me, suggests these 'new' chips are just the exsisting with speed bumps. They're not gonna overclock any higher than the current lineup.
    Which is a shame.

    Yeah, sorry, i got distracted by something shiny. So they OC well? I'm a little miffed; I have a 95W 1055T which is supposed to be a dream to OC with, but mine seems to have an aversion to 4.0Ghz.
    But then i should of known that AMD are less predictable than Intel. I used to be a System builder. We found that Overclock profiles for AMD were useless as each chip needed tweaking individually, whereas with intel, given chip X, with voltage Y, it was known to do Z Ghz.
