will you be putting water in this case ?

i really like it would even use Stealth thin rads if it would work.

Also wish Corsair would release it already :p

I won't be installing the system in the case, it's going back to Corsair after I'm finished modifying it. The new panel overlays will be milled from 1/2" thick PVC.

1/2" thick PVC! That's a massive piece of plastic you have there lol.

    No alloy? :(
I can understand though, That would be one expensive/heavy chunk of aluminum.

Cant wait to see how it turns out!

Let me guess... Lighter and cheaper than aluminum, and 1/2" thick black plexi is nonexistent?

    Edit: oof! -Cheaper by $360!

LOL.... Yes, PVC was cheaper and available locally for pick-up and it's perfect for custom paint... The side panel progress..more to come soon!

I'm heading over to Rockler to check out different hinges for the HD access door.. The hidden Soss would be nice, if they have one small enough in stock. Otherwise I'll get a Piano style hinge.

The Soss hinge looks awesome, so awesome it seems a shame to hide it.

Nice. You really achieved a nice side panel. Even if it is just "cut" and still not painted I already love the shape.

That side panel looks well cool mate, love the industrial look and that side door thats sweet. I can see that becoming something that manufacturers start doing for HDD access:thumb:

That panel does have a reassuringly weighty look to it. So we have hard drive door on the right, I presume a plexi window in the large hole on the left. What's going to be backing up the cross hatched section?
