And what about the HD5750 and 5770? It would be nice to compare to similar priced hardware...

There are HD 5770 numbers in our original review of the reference GTS 450.

it would be so useful for you guys to include some of the previous gen cards results in graphs, like the 4870. comparing cards that you haven't got when considering an upgrade isnt the most useful way of deciding.

I think the issue with all these cards is they're slower than the (old sooo old) cards that we have at the moment.

where is the top range? have nvidia still not fixed the 100% gtx480 or got a dual card single slot solution for us?

that is exactly the poitn i was trying to raise

i have mentioned it a few times but is fundementally impossible to do on this site. I do prefer this site over any other for its forums and general reviews but if i want to compare products i have to go else where

Surely overclocking a card like this is a way to get more performance from a cheaper card - buying a pre-overclocked card for the same price as the next model up can't ever make sense can it?

We understand what you're saying, but here's the problem from our point of view. First off, we want to stress the cards on test as much as possible, so most of our standard tests use DX11 which the previous generation doesn't support.

The killer reason for not including old cards is that if you're looking at graphics card reviews or are looking to upgrade, you already think your current card is too slow. Therefore you want a new one that's fast enough for the screen you have. Our reviews serve this purpose perfectly.

I really hope that was ironic... :D

I think the point being made is that the word should be 'quiet' and not 'quite'. ;)
