Linux Minecraft

On a scale of 1 to 10, how addictive is this game? I'm looking for a time killer atm, such as tomorrow all day and night

 

I can run a server 24/7 so it will still be up, no need to pay for a server

 

Just bought it a minute ago, ready for tonight/tomorrow, does look a fairly interesting game.
Imagine the Mrs. will find it interesting.

 

He explained his processor to a pig before beaning it upside the head with a torch. That's pretty cool in my book.


Edit, my friends and I spent yesterday evening building glass domes under the sea. If you build cloth mound on the seabed, seal them with glass then set fire to the cloth inside, it hollows out leaving just the dome.

He got a job offer form a kinda-crap flash games company for him while he's still in coll... university. Hope he doesn't take it, because really that'll just dick his degree up and the company that offered him the job is kinda crap.

I played it a bit earlier, built a huge house on top of a tree, hid from nasties, logged off :<

 

sent the ip to a few more people. I really need to make a list of who is playing, and your minecraft names, that way i could specify exactly who is allowed onto the server amongst other things.

I will be setting up a spleef stadium soon, basically its a suspended floor, and two combatants try to make the other person fall to their death by removing the floor below them

edit. im going to try and leave the server on 24/7 from today, or at least if it ever goes down its because its restarting, its broken, or im away from home for an extended period.

minecraft.net is down so i have taken down the server, it will be back, with some fun wrappers / server admin tools and a new place to call home...
