some people are nuts. i was looking out for a logitech g25/7 on ebay and was completely put off by the prices people were paying so decided id go for the logitech driving force gt put it into google a month or so ago and was going to get it in argos for £80 maybe before GT5 came out here http://www.google.co.uk/product_url...TNyiG47iygWY2fWXBA&sa=title&ved=0CAkQgwgwADgA

was on ebay and took a quick look at g25 and g27 and still not the price i want to pay, so went to look at logitech df gt for the craic and people are actually bidding more than the argos price for USED wheels, are these people nuts.

all they have to do is type it into google and itll tell them its cheaper in argos for a new one

 

There are people out there (I've met some) who's first instinct is to go to ebay, find a price they find acceptable and just assume that because it's ebay and the stuff's second hand that they must be saving money. It's weird

used g25 on ebay £211 and still plenty of time lest



just cant get over it, id wouldnt pay over 50% for one used maybe £140/150 at a push but £20/30 less on a used one, these people must be mad.

i know some people rate the g25 as a better wheel but still!

id love to lean down their screen and give them a shake and tell them cop on

 

wiat until GT5 is out, see what deals retailers are doing.

thats an idea, ive kinda decided the driving force gt will do now.

if its was xbox 360 compatible id get it but, i play mostly on my 360 so cant justify it

 

Problem is Logitech upped the prices of the G25 so while you used to get them cheap at one point they ended up being over £300, I some times consider selling mine as it only cost me £99 and I use it rarely these days having lost my gaming room to the sprog but I 'd never pay what they are asking for a replacement should I want the wheel back so there is no way I'd let it go, just have to collect dust until I buy a bigger house.

 

ah didnt know this but personally id rather have a new g27 with a warantee than a used g25 for a £20 saving. not bashing a used g25 i would have taken one for £140 if i saw it just not at those prices

i bought mine 2nd hand (it had never been used) logitech honor the 2 year warrenty still

 

Preordered GT5 yesterday.

good thing ps3's are dropping, there's a store here in sweden that sells them for roughly £200.
(that's like the price for ps2 when it was new!)
bought my ps3 a year ago for 'bout £285.
november's just 20 days away =)

I hope this is good i hated GT4 , GT3 is the best driving game for me .
