Got the Cannondale back from the shop after destroying the crank in a near hit with a car. Sooooo much faster than my back-up lead-sled.

 

The cockup I made a week or so ago turned out okay in the end, which is a relief.

Also, new shoes are so comfortable, and the Dr. Martens are comfortable out of the box.

Also, the straight razor is awesome.

 

3 days of work this week. and i get paid.

liratheal, where you get such a razor? I may have to try that.

 

I got it from Executive Shaving in the UK, however, Amazon.com does stock some Dovo Solingen straight razors (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001LY5X88 that's the all steel one I have) and http://www.classicshaving.com/Straight_Razors.html have some nice Dovo's and some nice Thiers-Issard razors too.

Not too sure about any specifically Canadian suppliers, though.

I cannot get over how damned good I smell. Why did I not start shaving this way years ago?!

You can get something called a "shavette", which is a straight razor style affair, but you put - For arguments sake - Merkur safety razors in them. They're cheaper (By a lot. ES sell them at £25, as oppose to the ~£100 most of the straights, for the razor carrier (A straight razor with a blade carrier rather than a.. well, straight razor), but I've no idea how good they are.

 

After 3.5 months of unemployment I finally got a job

Only four month contract initially but it'll get me out of the house and give me MONEY!

 

2 more days and then 2 weeks Holiday. No more work until next month. W00T!

I am building not just a stick, but a sledgehammer that I am going to present my bosses with tomorrow, so as to motivate 3 more staff for my department. The more time I sepnd at setting up the documentation, the scarier it gets, and the bigger the hammer becomes. This is awesome. Why didn't I do this 6 months ago?
