I've been skipping over the 22 pages this lunch hour picking out the highlights, and I think most of the top tips, if you can weed them out, are included. Surprised that the young lady (can't find her post now) that suggested a fragrance other than Lynx didn't also say to get some flowers.

Not sure if that's a bit too much for a first date though. They might be a bit embarasing if you're giving her them in public... You should be able to gauge that one by now.

Each week when I used to go to Manchester assisting my mate DJ ( he did the DJing.. I was more the Bez from Happy Mondays dancing drunk!) I wore Issey Miyake and the amount of attention I used to get was quite a lot. I was called a tart at one point for my actions

Thoughtfullness never hurts, though...if you go for a present, go for something that's unsubstantial (cheap or free), but shows THAT YOU'VE THOUGHT OF HER.

How I'd play it:

 

I think we've got our day sorted,

Meet at train station.
Bring her back to mine to drop her stuff off.
Drop her off at Uni
Meet her at Uni when she phones.
Come back to Mine, both get dressed.
Go to the cinema.
Then go clubbing in town
Then back to Mine to watch movie 1408 (biased in a hotel room, pretty creepy movie) (few beers)
Then have fun in bed

If she's to wreaked to watch movie back at mine with a few beers, Skip to have fun in bed part.

If she wants to come back right after movie without going out drinking, This could possibly RUIN everything.

So you're going to be watching TWO movies in one night (not that i would expect that if your going out clubbing as you shouldnt go out clubbing at come back before midnight). Isn't that a bit overkill? Maybe skip out the movie at yours for some other form of entertainment (Show her a magic trick: You "Hey wanna see a magic trick?": Her "Yea sure babeh" (Thinking your about to get in the bed): You "Kay here goes" (Utter random gibberish). then open your safe and watch as Big Mike springs out) that should get the blood pumping

Seriously two movies in close succession could bore her out of the mood and you (and all of us) would not want that to happen now would we?
