Gaming Front Mission Evolved Review

The beta is, but the final version isn't yet the last time I checked. That was a few weeks ago though, so maybe it's done. Can't check at work.

There was another similar game I once had which was great, called Terra Nova. Shame they went out of business.

 

Loved FM3, loved MechCommander, but I probably wont be getting this. I'll just wait until I get a better computer and run FM4 through an emulator. Wake me up when there's a decent mecha game out

I second this post.

 

I was a huge fan of FM3 and 4, even modified my PS2 just so i could play it (a legal import copy). If you have an old fat style PS2, a spare IDE hard drive and a disc you buy off the net you can play NTSC games on a PAL system. Same with FM5 and the unofficial English patch apparently, but I don't own it so I can't confirm that.

I really wish they had stuck to turn based, it was disappointing to hear this was a TPS and even more disappointing to see the reviews. I'll still pick it up, but it could have been so much more. Here's hoping for a FM6, and a proper turnbased one at that. Stick to what you know SE!
