I think you'll find in my area, Most the girls have kids/babes due to being able to get up the list for having a flat/house off the benefits, the more kids the higher priority on the list they have, They tend to live off benefits, not work, and still have a decent life, Which they pass down to their children and it just keeps going on.

That is plain wrong i agree with you, I think people who have kids should be able to support them on their own, without the need of all kinds of benefits within reason.

I wouldn't mind having a kid, Dam i'd love to have a kid in fact, I've been thinking this for about a year and discussed the subject to hell with friends, I think with support from my family, It'd be pretty damn perfect,

This post is really confusing. Both me and my other half have put up with a lot of **** just to be with eachother. I'd advise you to really consider your feelings for her - sometimes, you need to let the emotional part of the brain take over the rational one when it comes to decisions (especially if you've got a - rational - fall-back; i.e. the family business). We need to be rational, but humans are too shitty to let good ones slide - that's what I've learned from life, anyway; and I learned it from letting the good ones slide away.

I'd work at McDonald's if it'd let me be with the one I want to be with. But if your feelings tell you your relationship won't stand the test of time, then... well, then it's better not to move and work at Micky D's, I guess.

Good luck either way - whatever happens in the future, it sounds like you both had a very good weekend, which - as far as I understand - is exactly what you both wanted from this experience.

 

It's all good, It all depends on her really depending on which course she wants to take, I'd have her move in with me right this second if i could, This little room could quickly evolve into a family home with the support of my family, But at the same time i do want her to follow her dreams and go to uni and get the job she wants its kind of complicated.

She did say if she fails, She'll fall back on me, If she goes to plymouth uni that means around next year we'll be together too,

But then theirs always reading uni, Which she's still got to go to the opening day, and apparently they have the perfect course for her. Which would mean we'd lose each other altogether.

So here we have 3 options,
1. She Fails, moves in with me
2. She goes to plymouth Uni and stays with me
3. She goes to reading uni and leaves me

We both know we're good together. Guess it's just a waiting game really, and see what happens? guess its totally up to her

anyway what would you do in this situation, (leaving the family business isn't a option)
