Curious to see where the majority of us custom pc-ers hail from geographically and access the site IE what sort of diverse population this forums has, given we seem to have a diverse range of members on here given Bit tech and custom PC is UK based i wonder how many of us hail from parts else where? Maybe if you are from more a unique part of the world post where from exactly and see if there are others from your country/area on here you could contact to share info like pc suppliers etc? - IE For example personally when i move back to New Zealand Jan 11 i would like to know where everyone sources there upgrades from back home? Choose a option on where your residing on a semi/permanent basis and usually access the site from rather than where your from? The idea of this poll is to get a idea of where people are accessing this forum from Realise this more belongs in Misc: General, but cannot create poll threads in there.
I am currently living in Chandler, Arizona, USA and I am from the Chicago, IL, USA area. Fry's Electronics is the best place to get PC supplies in the Phoenix area other than ordering online.
Noble effort, but apart from the odd few most of us have our location right over there to the left To be fair though I grew up in Monaghan, which is where I'd consider myself to be "from".

This has been done already by country. And it still doesn't work out for those of us that shift locations frequently. Ex: I'm an American that grew up in Germany, I joined the forums while living in the UAE yet now live in Africa, and will be moving again in 18 months.

Read the bit in italics, its not so much about where you were born/live but where you access bit tech forums from IE where are the users of bit tech accessing the site from on a day to day basis...not sure why people keep asking this when its there in ITALICS :-D
Who would of thought it, that poll shows most of the forumites are from the UK, quite surprising when you consider the size difference between the UK and USA anyway im from England, Lincolnshire, the place of many fields
