My weapon? The girls on my floor in halls, piss them off and not even God can stop them...

If that fails, I'm going hell for leather with an axe. Or alternatively give me a Bo staff and let me wreak havoc!

Zombie porno and a large gun. While they are staring at it I'll blast them kingdom come.

Why did I start thinking about metal gear when you said that?

You can distract guards with pron magazines.

I'm still on my plan to snag a ferry, stock it with a few weeks of fresh water and food, then wait it out while all you vigilantes clear things out. If things look like they're going in for the long haul then I'd have to pop ashore for a bit to setup a car-tire farming operation onboard before setting back out to sea. Staying in local waters should provide enough rainwater to support freshwater cisterns, and the growing season isn't too bad either. When combined with some fishing there should be enough supplies to support a small population indefinitely.

All you need is a squad of ultimate badasses

    Failing that....

However, there is danger it could all go sour and lead to...

    :D

    Man, I love this thread.

A M19 grenade launcher would be a start personally...

If we're going crazy give me GAU-8_Avenger on a robotic mount with a bunker full of ammo... I'm doing a robotics degree so I'm 1/3rd the way there... That'd really mess them up!!!!!!

A handul of capsules, each containing a liquid base of the H1N1 Virus, anthrax and mustard gas that evaporates on contact with nitrogen. Plus one antidote capsule that contains vaccination. A MOP Suit and S10 gas mask with spare respirator.

A bag full of Valmara 69 land mines to leave in a trail behind me to ensure I can't be attacked from behind. They are bounding mines so once activated by pressure they release a couple of feet in the air, spinning, so more likely to decapitate than other mines.

Stoner 47 / SR-47. An AR type rifle, as far as looks go anyway, however! This weapon uses 7.62, a much much more favoured round imho. 5.56 leaves too much chance of over penetration, at least I know if I hit a zombie with a 7.62, due to the fact it is still human tissue underneath, it is going to tear through and take it to the ground, at which point I have a much higher chance of killing the bugger.

A suppressed sten gun, due to it's simple manufacture and slim profile. Any reliability issues could be fixed with a :dremel:

Apart from that, a heavy. blunt object (ie axe or bat) for those nasty close encounters.

I would also rig some lures, using a strippped down car. Tip it on it's side, strip away the body work and attach a 5 meter length of razor edged sheet metal at neck height on the powered wheel. Start that baby up and run for cover :thumb:

That SR-47 is a glorious looking weapon Canon. Do want :thumb:

Although I still prefer the totally impersonal and unforgiving method of mortally wounding and killing the buggers from long range with the awesome SR-25 :D

If I had to get up close and personal, it's hard to know whether I'd take the '47 or my old favourite, the M4 Carbine... I know the 7.62 round has more stopping power than the 5.56 NATO of the M4, but I just love that M4A1 with the '203 and ACOG! :p

    [edit]

Ultimate setup? Totally impossible for one man to carry both, so I'd take you to use as a zombie spotter. You can carry and use the SR-47 and I'll use the SR-25. That way we can share ammo. Win win! Don't worry, I'd leave you some :hehe:

If its against the shuffling horde then all you really need is a spade and a swiss army knife.

Fires slowly enough you can squeeze off single shots accurately, and firing auto you can take them out in droves. With a .50 cal round it doesn't matter where you hit them, they're going down.

I'm honestly amazed that this hasn't been mentioned yet, and I'm ashamed to have not included it, consider it done now.

Nah, they took that from Postal (videogame). But in the game they used it as a supressor.
