Hey guys I bought a 23" Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 LED. On some games like Civilization V, Stalker, and Crysis the screen will flicker at higher resolutions. Most other games run fine though. Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen?
Strange - my Samsung 22" 2232BW also flickers on and off all the time..tried the monitor hooked up to a second pc with a different cable and still flickers...knackered me thinks. No idea about your problem is though - has it always done it or is it a new symptom? What Graphics card are you using? Have you googled for similar problems? Standard IT support questions: (!) Have you tried reseating the graphics card? Tried a different DVI cable? Could this be an electrical noise thing? (Clutching at straws) Q. edit:Bad spelling
Well before I got this monitor I was just using my JVC 720p LCD TV. And even though the native resolution of it was lower it could still display 1920x1080 no problems. Well it at least didn't flicker. I'm using HD 4870 for graphics.
