Windows Windows 7 FireWire problem

    i just found out the win7 no longer supports firewire..
    How in the world am i supposed to capture/import video from my camcoder/dv that only uses firewire?

    any help guys???? any advice would really be appreciated.

    It does support firewire, it's just the driver for the firewire interface has been updated which as I understand it means that you also need an updated driver fior your camcorder.

    Really? uhm.. device manager wont show any device under IEEE, i dont even see the IEEE tab anymore. Windows7 furom says "windows7 no longer supports ieee(firewire) we recommend upgrading to new connection hardware like ethernet"
    or something like that. its what it said also in (F1) help in OS.
