Just a word of warning. There are a LOT of fake Sennheiser's out there (google it!) Last Christmas, i bought some from a Amazon seller. Please note, not Amazon but one of the people who sell through it. and they were FAKE! It took a lot of time and hassle to get my money back. Personally, for the sake of a few pounds, i would buy from a big company.
my sennheiser pros are the best headphones i've ever used and i have really choosy ears. but, yeah, buy from a reputable source.
So I'll probably just get these Sennheisers, can some one point me out to a credible dealer though please? This talk of fake ones has made me doubt my decision to buy just from Amazon so.
Hey, Dont get me wrong, Amazon themselvs are fine, i just had a problem when buying from one of their sellers I can also recommend Klipsch and ultimate ears. Koss also do a decent cheepo (ie under £10) pair I would check out the bigger stores like HMV etc or have a look at this place http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk...to=50&cPath=6&sort=4a&perPage=72#guide_result I personally havent used them but they seem to be ok.
Hey, I have these! They are ok. the bass is ok for the price but comply foam tips really do help. I dont know if they work with the iphone 4 (you could ask at the apple store) but they work really well with my iphone 3. They do take a little getting use but, especially with the foam tips, they are comfortable.
hey how about some of these http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk...eadphones.4537.html?display=review#topTabMenu http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk..._Isolating_Earphones.3770.html?display=review http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk...eadphones.4532.html?display=review#topTabMenu
If you really wnat the Sennheiser's then use play.com £17.99 with free delivery. Best price on the new and reputable company. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-...YMF4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1291395126&sr=8-1
Personally I can't fault my Sony ones from Tescos. Brilliant Sound quality and Bass level. And they were only £25 - £30. Can't remember the model number atm though ill update when/if I find it.
So I got the Sennheisers CX300 II's from Amazon, however after a quick inspection they are definitely fake from using this thread and the post by Vetal http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/445466/sennheiser-cx300-ii-fake I've bought from Amazon too again now, so I'm definitely not too pleased.
It was this link http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-...YMF4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1291395126&sr=8-1 which is apparently a dealer known as SipStarLive.
Well as i said earlier, a simmilar thing happend to me this time last year. You should get in touch, ask for your money back and comtact amazon too
Turns out I've been harassing the wrong supplier for the headphones, when I double checked it was Lime Paint not stipstarlive, ooops.
Just got my white Klipsch Image S4i Ordered, dodgy seller off ebay, let you guys know the quality and authenticity of them. BTW Purchased for £49.99 VS £89.99 retail, love a bargain, but only time will tell when i possibly have to pay return postage!
If you're still open to suggestions, the Koss Portapro and KSC75 both sound better than the CX300 II..
Right now I'm slightly fed up with headphones, I'm still waiting on feedback about my broken Sony ones that died on the first day, as for the Sennheisers I'm waiting on a refund I was meant to get but still not seeing any return money. I sometimes hate being a student, not having all the time in the world to chase up on a bunch of thieves.
I've had these since march and they are great. http://www.play.com/Electronics/Ele...ass-MDR-XB40EX-In-Ear-Headphones/Product.html I listen to stuff like black sun empire and state of mind which are D&B so if you like bass these are the best I've tried, they are still very solid I have used them every day.
