It's announced, that all of the mobile parts will have 12 EUs (e.g. 2 cores) and most of the desktop parts will have 6 EUs (e.g. 1 core), but there will be desktop parts with 12 EUs aswell, as the tested i5 2400 apparently did have 12 EUs.

And having now listened too the podcast I realise you aren't going to answer my question are you? Haha. Not with that disdain for multi GPU setups. Oh well, guess I will be getting a 6970 regardless of how it compares to the 580GTX.

Either some of you listen to it audiophile style or at levels that I could only describe as wall shakingly loud. If there is ever a change in levels that is uncomfortable I just turn it down a notch or too and it is no bother, besides that it's interesting enough (more often than not) to keep me distracted. I've listened to podcasts through my earphones, headsets, laptop speakers and even my main setup, always the same, turn it down a few notches and bob's your uncle!

Try adding some compression as well... it'll keep everyone talking at the same volume even though Harry is yelling into the microphone in reality.
