Case Mod - In Progress Project RV3N- Just Another Problem

Hi everyone.
People may remember me talking about this mod get on it's feet. Unfortunately, due to limited resources and being bogged down with schoolwork, this thing hasn't really taken off fully. So, with what I have and could get, I've been working behind the scenes to get this thing going!

Here is the basic plan, get this thing ready.
21st December- I break from school! This thing will be out of action for 2-3 weeks doing the big stuff!

Update Tiem!

Well, I believe it's time show you guys all the work that's gone on so far. I've been busy engraving, cutting windows and sleeving cables. Also, my big chilled pc order came today, but I can't have it till christmas . How sad. Anyways...





Now, I don't want to give away too much about what will be happening over the Christmas holiday, but the welder will be out. So will the spraypaint, the jigsaw, the coffee, the dremel, and maybe my school's laser cutter. See you on the 21st!

If your camera has a macro/flower mode be sure to use it!

 

Could you possibly resize the pictures to a more appropriate size? 3 MB per picture is excessive! Even on a 6MBit broadband-connection.

 

They seriously need re-sizing before upload man. Use Irfanview or something of the like before you upload images.

What a lovely attitude towards people with slightly worse connection than yourself.

even on my internet it took me an age to load in the page.

Hi, I'm really sorry about the size of the pictures- I'm clueless about what imageshack does to them to make them so big! But if anyone can help me, please do! But can we comment on something other than the size of the images? Please.
Please excuse my attitude to the pictures and my attitude to sparkboy, thanks mattmc!

 

Have a look at the settings for pic editing and resize them to 800X600 that still give decent quality but make them load quickly as well.

NOOOO! I hate thumbnails...

Cause the pics are hard to see, many will not take the time to click each pic esp. when you said your self a large shipment of supplies etc will not be in your hands till christmas break...

But I guess it looks like a good start.

 

I'm just watching to see what happens. i'm curious about the bird. Are you going to engrave it on to the side of the case?

I know, Jeff suggested editing the pics to 800x600 but I don't know how. And as for the christmas order, my mum said no to having some now. Only 14 days to go!

See if you can figure out what I'm doing. Apart from keeping this thread alive- just.

Well guys, seeing as pictures have been a real pain in the arse for most of us, how about a video?

Please excuse my heavy breathing, I struggle to get up and bend down because of my knees.

Anyway, this means we have a plan, work will start at 2:00 on the 21st of December, when I get home from school(half day!). Be here- if you don't work!

But the plan is: sleeve the rest of my cables, paint the PCI covers again, weld a steel sheet with cable routing holes and rubber grommets to the right side of the mobo tray. Strip down the case and paint the whole thing black, and replace the top grill with perspex and put in a fan mount closest to the back of the case.
